The Gabonese Minister of Oil, Gas and Mines Vincent de Paul Massassa met the Czech Minister of Defence and Industrial Cooperation, Tomas Kopecny on Friday. Tomas Kopecny expressed his country's interest in Gabon mining potentials.

The Czech Minister of Defence and Industrial Cooperation, Tomas Kopecny, with a delegation of officials and businessmen, met the Gabonese Minister of Oil, Gas and Mines Vincent de Paul Massassa. Together they explored the investment opportunities available in Gabon. 

Vincent de Paul Massassa with and his the Directors General of Hydrocarbons, Mines and Research and Laboratories, presented the possibilities in terms of oil t and mining sectors in Gabon. 

With an existing presence in oil exploitation and exploration in Nigeria and Cameroon, the Czech officials expressed their interest in investing in Gabon. “We carefully paid attention to the presentations made by the Minister and his collaborators. Technical discussions will continue to determine the priority areas in which Czech companies should invest,” Tomas Kopecny said.

Vincent de Paul Massassa welcomed the interest shown by the Czechs in the oil and mining resources of Gabon. 

The Czechs visit is a sign that Gabon is increasingly attractive in terms of investments.
